Frequently Asked Questions

What ages does the summer program serve?

▼

Our program serves children and teens ages 5–17, divided into four age-appropriate tracks: Young Explorers (6–9), Discovery Builders (10–12), Growth Leaders (13–17), and a specialized Substance Abuse Track (14–17).

When does the program run?

▼

The 2026 Summer Youth Program runs from June 1 through August 7, 2026 — a full 10 weeks of structured programming.

Is this covered by insurance?

▼

Yes! We accept all Ohio Medicaid managed care plans (CareSource, Molina, Buckeye, United Healthcare Community Plan, Anthem, AmeriHealth Caritas, Aetna Better Health, Humana Healthy Horizons) as well as Medicare and most commercial insurance plans.

What makes this different from a regular summer camp?

▼

Our program is led by licensed clinicians and behavioral health aides — not camp counselors. Every activity is designed with therapeutic goals in mind: building emotional regulation, social skills, coping strategies, and self-awareness. Children receive weekly progress reports and individualized attention.

Does my child need a diagnosis to participate?

▼

No. While many participants have behavioral health needs, any child who would benefit from building emotional resilience, social skills, and coping strategies is welcome. We'll discuss your child's specific needs during enrollment.

What does a typical day look like?

▼

Days include a mix of therapeutic group activities, creative arts, physical movement, skill-building sessions, and fun social activities like field trips and talent shows. The schedule is structured but flexible to meet each group's needs.

How do I enroll my child?

▼

Fill out the enrollment form above or call us at (419) 740-3022. Our team will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your child's needs, verify insurance, and complete the enrollment process. Spots are limited, so we encourage early registration.
